What's great about it: excellent picture and sound
What's not so great: design is ugly

"This television has been hyped for some time now, it is a great t.v. and as such it performs to that standard. One major drawback is the horrid design that LG picked to display this great technology. A huge screen with a huge button in the middle bottom that lights up isn't what I'd like to see, a diffused LED with touch sensitivity (like on many Samsung televisions) would be much better and look grand. The finish on the surrounding case isn't matted perfectly, causing a slight glare if you have any sunlight near, but it doesn't affect the picture so much as a distraction.

Overall a great TV and worth your money paid, in the very least." "

What's not so great: lighted emblem, though it can be turned off

"I was looking at 42" flat panels with less upgrades. But after mulling over all the facts, a 52" flat panel LCD with 120Mz speed, USB ports for viewing digital photos and many other upgrades, plus that the " LG " brand means years of trouble free service. If you divide the extra cost of this model and brand buy the number of years expected use, it's only pennies a day more and in my book well worth the extra cost." "

"Just picked up this tv on Black friday event for 1200.00 Was worth waking up at 3am to get it.

Im pleased with the picture quality

the sound is OK I think the sound is reduced because they put the speakers facing the ground instead of facing out. I think that was a bad move.

the 52LG60 does not have ANALOG AUDIO OUT

so throw all your analog theatre speaker or receivers away they wont work. You must get digital sound system.

the TV lineup is very weird doesnt match my cable box channels will have to look into this" "
